Day For P.I.N.K.

We wish to extend our sincerest gratitude to our generous sponsors, our participants and the membership. We want to recognize the efforts of our volunteers, the BCRF, Sinesia and Bill Karol, our Event Chairs, the Event Committee and the Club Staff, as this would not have been possible without your efforts and contribution.

 

The overwhelming success of our fundraising effort has enabled funding for a major research grant through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Dr. Eric Winer from the Dana-Farber Cancer Center, a renowned investigator and world-class scientific leader, will be receiving the Play for P.I.N.K. Aquidneck Club Award this year. Dr. Winer's work focuses on identifying those patients who can be treated just as effectively with less toxic, less intensive therapy, improving their quality of life. This is high-promise, high-yield research and we are thrilled to be supporting it. The Aquidneck Club Award is one of 12 Play for P.I.N.K. game-changing research initiatives being supported this year, thanks to generous donors like you.
